So Why Choose A TomTom...
A year ago, if you had asked us to choose between a Garmin and a TomTom sat-nav we would always have recommended the Garmin simply because the mapping was much better for Ireland. In the last 18 months TomTom have worked hard to correct this and now we think they have a line of products that are as good as their Garmin equivalents (if not better in some cases).

Overall we find the TomTom range to be very reliable with very few faults reported and the devices all come with enough features to keep most of us happy. TomTom are the No. 1 sat-nav manufacturer in Europe and their products are definitely getting better and better.

The range of TomTom that we have on mySatNav is straightforward - only the latest models, rather than previous older versions. We offer a budget system - the Start, a mid-range system - the 8xx Series, and a high-end version - 1xxx series. After that all you have to decide is whether you just need Ireland and UK maps only or European maps.

Do we recommend TomTom? ...Yes!
