The Start - Europe
The Start is the latest entry-level European in-car sat-nav from TomTom. Preloaded with Ireland, UK and Europe maps the modus operandi here is to 'keep it simple'. This is a basic sat-nav at a very affordable price but it has features of the more expensive models in the TomTom range - IQ Routes and MapShare.
Earlier versions of the Start do not contain a postcode search feature but this is now available through a firmware update from TomTom Home.

The Start is TomTom's new budget in-car sat nav which incorporates simplicity and smart route planning. Designed for the occasional drivers, the Start is an entry-level sat nav with preloaded maps for Ireland, UK and Europe.
Although it doesn't come with extra features that appear on other TomToms - Bluetooth®, advanced lane guidance - it does come with the necessary features that will get you to your destination such as IQ Routes, Map Share and TomTom's latest map guarantee.
