Overview

Clwyd contains the open heather clad hill and limestone cliffs of the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, popular for the variety of scenery and its easy access. Offa's Dyke National Trail follows almost the entire length of the hills, and for cyclists there are many miles of mountain biking trails and routes. Such is the quality of the terrain that large challenge type biking events are held on the hills every year.
