Overview
North Devon holds many features that draw visitors from all over the country. This map covers the county northwards from Okehampton up to the coastline of the Bristol Channel, including the popular coastal destinations of Minehead and Ilfracombe. It also includes the whole of Exmoor National Park (even though half of the Park is actually in Somerset), an area of Parkland of steep wooded valleys, rivers, open moors and heathland, home to an abundance of wildlife including wild deer and Exmoor ponies. North Devon offers walkers and cyclists a varied landscape with hills, upland areas of forest, and a beautiful coastline with stunning cliffs and beaches. It is of course also home to a large section of the South West Coast Path, the longest National Trail in the UK.
