Overview
Finland is a very large and sparsely populated Nordic country, made up of numerous lakes and islands carved by the last ice age. Finland is predominately flat with only a handful of mountains in the north-west region bordering Norway. Because of the terrain, cycling is very popular in Finland with the Archipelago Trail stretching down the west-coast one of the most prevalent tourist routes. Husky tours are also a unique way to explore the Arctic wilderness and experience the beautiful snowy landscapes of the north of the country.
