Overview
The Atlas Mountains in Morocco are one of the longest mountain ranges in the whole of Africa. The range includes the High Atlas Mountains and the western part of the Mgoun Massif, Middle Atlas, Anti Atlas and the Jebel Lkest in the Tafraoute valley. These areas form many beautiful valleys of contrasting green vegetation and desert sand. Berber villages and architecture punctuate the landscape which can be explored on foot by mountain bike or in 4WD vehicle.
