Overview
New Zealand The Land of the Long White Cloud's offers some of the most spectacular scenery on earth. This map contains the whole of New Zealand on one SD card. Divided into two main landmasses (the North Island and the South Island), and numerous smaller islands, it boasts approximately 15,134 km of coastline. The South Island is the largest land mass, and is divided along its length by the Southern Alps. The south-western corner is Fiordland, an area of high mountains cut through with steep fjords. The highly active Taupo volcano in the North Island has formed a large volcanic plateau, the North Island's highest mountain, and the country's largest lake. This dramatic and varied landscape provides the setting for an amazing variety of outdoor sports and is therefore ideal for activities such as walking, hiking and mountain biking.
