Overview

Ontario is named after one of the great lakes of North America and is Canada's most populated province. Ontario is home to Canada's capital city Ottawa and also the largest city by population, Toronto. The province is relatively flat apart from some uplands that run the length of its western flank and across the south where they carve the magnificent Niagara Falls. Because of the gently undulating terrain, Cycling amongst the quiet country roads or converted trails is very popular. Where Ontario really excels is with its beautiful and remote lakes and rivers that provide almost endless Canoeing or Kayaking adventures.
