A note on watch sizes

Essentially Garmin watches are available in small, medium and large watch case sizes. Here is a basic guide.

Small - case sizes from 41 mm up to 45 mm, most suited to women.
Medium - case sizes from 45 mm up to 47 mm, suited to both women and men.
Large - case sizes from 50 mm, most suited to men.

Each watch specification on our site includes suggested wrist circumferences.  If you intend to wear the watch as an every day watch then our recommendation is that you choose a watch that will fit comfortably and is not oversized.  Some like the look of an oversized watch but keep in mind that the watch is likely to get more knocks and bumps.  If this is your preference, chose a watch with a toughened Sapphire lenses to minimise lens scratches.

Finally some watches, such as the Enduro, only come in a single large size so these watches may be less practical as every day wear for a lot of people.
