The GPSMAP series from Garmin has always been one of the most popular handheld product lines and the new GPSMAP 64 series has built on
that successs.
The GPSMAP 64st is similar to the 64s except is has 8GB of internal memory instead of 3.5GB (you can never has enough memory) and a European
Recreational map that covers 44 countries. This map corresponds to a 1:100k scale recreational scale map. Coverage details varies depending
on country and the map does not include routing data so is unable to provide turn-by-turn navigation directions.
Unfortunately it is no longer possible to get OSI 1:50K maps of the Republic of Ireland for the GPSMAP series from Garmin.
