This cable allows you to connect your GPS to your PC and power the GPS through a 12V cigarette lighter at the same time. Create routes and waypoints on you PC and transfer them on to your GPS. You can also download map detail from MapSource CD-ROMs to compatible units. Cable features a standard 9-pin D connector.
The cable This cable has a moulded GARMIN plug at one end to connect to your Garmin GPS, and splits into two separate cables, one with a cigarette lighter adapter (with fuse protection), and one with a PC Interface cable (RS-232 serial) to connect to your PC (for uploading waypoint information and downloading map data to the GPS).
