The price difference between the Tactical edition and standard edition of the two watches is approx. €45. The extra cost for the Instinct 2X Solar Tactical gets you the following:
- Night vision compatibility.
- Stealth mode that disables 1. GPS position sharing and storing and, 2. wireless connectivity.
- Dual-position format display: UTM and MGRS.
- Jumpmaster Modes: HAHO and HALO.
- Tactical activity location data available in UTM or MGRS.
- Kill switch feature.
Which is the best to go for - the Garmin Instinct 2X Solar or Instinct 2?
The addition of the multi-band, dual frequency GNSS support, extra battery life, LED flashlight, more memory and new metrics and analysis makes the Garmin Instinct 2X Solar a proper upgrade and more than a simply bigger Instinct 2. For this reason it is definitely worth considering.
How long does delivery take once I have placed my order?
For in stock items, delivery is normally within 1-2 working days. We only ship within the Republic of Ireland and use either DPD or An Post. To avoid delays it is important to include your Eircode with the delivery address. If your Instinct 2X Solar is not in stock the date it is due into us is displayed at time of purchase. We get daily updates from Garmin and thus delivery ETAs (estimated time of arrival) do change. There have been impacts since Brexit and unfortunately delays that are beyond our control do occur. That being said, once stock lands into us it is shipped as quickly as possible.
